Sendmail SocketMap Daemon Framework provides tools for handling socket map processors. It includes a threaded TCP server, the netstring codec, map name dispatching, configuration file processing, and more, so that someone who wishes to design and implement a particular socket map can focus completely on the particular task the socket map has to perform. The particular socket map processor appears as a shared object which is dynamically loaded by the daemon depending on the configuration.
ChildProt is a child protection policy daemon for Postfix. It checks a list of recipient addresses. If the current recipient address is found, the sender address is verified against a whitelist. If the current sender address is found, the mail will be delivered to the recipient. If the sender address is not found on the whitelist, the mail will be redirected to a delegate of the recipient. If the recipient address is not found the mail will be delivered to the recipient too.
