comic-get allows the user to download comic strips from the Internet with minimal fuss. Its interface is modeled after apt-get. While you can write your own rules to get comics, comic-get also supports "repositories" (or rule databases) just like apt-get. This means you can also use rule sets created by others.
fpgg is yet another static (X)HTML picture gallery generator. It uses template files for output, and allows pictures to be tagged with title, description, categories, and more. Files are resized and postprocessed using external appliations. For example, EXIF tags can be stripped or modified.

The bot will also warmly keep the conversation going, discreetly discouraging people from pasting already pasted URLs again. The Web interface can be used to track what URLs have already been pasted and by whom.
Woclema is weblogging software that is intended to be managed and edited using the command line. However, there is no reason a HTML UI couldn't be implemented. Woclema offers template-based layout, strict XHTML output, post categories, permanent links, comments, and simple spam-protection.
