HtmlRipper is a Java package that enables dynamic data to be extracted from Web pages, using pre-defined rule sets. It allows multiple data sets to be combined into a single dynamic web page, and is ideal for the creation of data mining, page analysis, Web page filtering, and article clipping software. The package includes a sample rules-enabled browser and rules editor.
Java Remote File Access is a set of classes for accessing files across the network. It contains a server, a client side connector, and a file access dialog. The server uses client authentication and resource access rules to restrict access to its local resources. The system allows you to read, write, delete, and rename files, create and remove directories, and randomly access files. Currently only text files are supported.
