SELTA@Etersoft enables programs that store data in MS SQL Server to work with PostgreSQL. It translates SQL queries from the T-SQL dialect (used in MS SQL Server) to pl/pqSQL (used by PostgreSQL). Though SELTA@Etersoft is universal, it needs improvement to support concrete applications. At the moment, the translator is oriented to the popular Russian accounting system «1?:??????????? 7.7». If your application can store data only in MS SQL, and you want it to be compatible with PostrgreSQL, support for your application can be implemented.
RX@Etersoft is a terminal server. It allows Linux and Windows applications to be executed on a server while users interact with the applications' interfaces at their workstations. RX@Etersoft is a system based on the NX protocol. It enables running remote X11 sessions even through network channels with low capacity. The RX@Etersoft client can be run on Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, and Windows. Advantages of RX@Etersoft over a common Linux server connection include simplicity of administration, acceleration of applications which actively use network data transfer, safe remote Internet connection, connection with office equipment (like printers and scanners), the ability to connect from both Linux and Windows, effective compression of the X traffic, a caching mechanism for the repeated use of data transmitted between server and client, acceleration of X calls, and a "lazy" coding algorithm for delayed screen update.
