CalCore is an advanced, flexible calendaring component for Python. It allows the Python developer to write advanced calendaring applications either using their own event storage or integrating with external calendar servers. It features support for private calendars, shared calendars, resource booking, integration with iCalendar clients (Apple iCal, Mozilla Sunbird, KOrganizer) using the iCalendar protocol, invitation workflow, meeting support, including helper functions to look for free time, and recurring event support. It is being used as the core of Nuxeo's CalZope and CPSSharedCalendar products.
FunkLoad is a functional and load Web tester whose main use cases are functional testing of Web projects (and thus regression testing as well), performance testing, load testing (such as volume testing or longevity testing), and stress testing. It can also be used to write Web agents to script any Web repetitive task.
NuxDocument is a Zope product that represents generic documents by using plugins to convert native productivity suite formats to HTML (for viewing or previewing in a regular browser) or to plain text (for indexing). With the appropriate external conversion programs, NuxDocument currently provides support for MSOffice (DOC, XLS, and PPT), OpenOffice (a.k.a. StarOffice 6), RTF,and PDF formats.
Nuxeo Core is an embeddable document management core, based on Nuxeo Runtime. It provides all the necessary low-level services to define, store, manage, audit, request, and search content. It is the "kernel" of Nuxeo 5 and can also be embedded in third-party applications to provide advanced content management features. It can run on any Java 5 platform, can be easily extended using plug-ins, and implements JCA (Java EE Connector Architecture) to be easily plugged into existing applications or information systems.
Nuxeo Platform provides a framework and set of components to address document management and collaboration needs, including metadata/taxonomies, versioning, lifecyle management, workflow, relations, searching, reporting, transformation, auditing, and retention. Its flexible extension system, based on OSGi, allows developers to quickly configure and extend the platform by creating new components. Its default Web user interface, based on the JSF standard, uses AJAX to create a pleasant user experience. It can also be accessed by a rich client interface through the use of Web services, for instance using the Eclipse-based Nuxeo RCP rich client platform.
NuxUserGroups is a Zope product that adds the notion of groups of users. Groups provide a level of indirection in the user -> roles mapping, which provides greater flexibility. The groups are defined and managed in the User Folder. They are then used at the local roles level, where you can define an additional mapping of groups -> roles, thus giving the users who belong to these groups additionnal local roles. A workgroup can be defined simply and managed in a centralized manner.
