myfw is firewall based on iptables snipets or modules. A configuration uses these modules, which contain Perl code, in order to facilitate the writing of rules. They can also contain raw iptables commands. Configs can be pre-defined, which is useful if you have multiple machines that need the same firewall rules. It can also generate ipac-ng rules according to the iptables chains inserted.
commitrc is a tool to put your /etc files (and the like) under CVS or SVN. It is useful to see differences in /etc/passwd, routing information, and DNS zones, and to keep an history of what happened to the box. It is also a safe backup of configurations when tweaking software behavior.
What if we could have choices between layouts
It could be a good idea to let choices for users. They may choose the new layout, or the old one.(i'm talking only for the news page).
