Google Mail has a nice way of stripping down quoted segments and just getting to the meat of replies. I haven't tried to tear it apart to see how they've engineered what constitutes as meat, modified meat, or duplicated meat, but it definitely reminds me of something I'm seeing here with t-prot. I look forward to trying it. Thanks.
Slackware 8.1 - Buy it or download the ISO
You may or may not have known this, but you can download Slackware from Slackware.com (http://www.slackware.com target=_blank) (or one of its mirror (http://slackware.com/getslack/ target=_blank) sites) in ISO format -- so if your connection allows your patience to sustain a 600+ MB download, you can burn a copy from your own home/office. However, over at the Slackware Store (store.slackware.com target=_blank), you can buy the entire 4-CD set.
I just downloaded the Slackware 8.1 ISO last week, and installed it on a quad-Xeon it went beautifully - even supports ext3, ReiserFS, JFS and XFS file systems.
After all these years, I've been tempted, and have even given in to trying other distros, but man, there's something about Slackware that I just trust in the production environment. :-)
