The purpose of mifluz is to provide a C++ library to build and query a full text inverted index. It is dynamically updatable, scalable (up to 1Tb indexes), uses a controlled amount of memory, shares index files and memory cache among processes or threads and compresses index files to 50% of the raw data. The structure of the index is configurable at runtime and allows inclusion of relevance ranking information. The query functions do not require to load all the occurences of a searched term. They consume very few resources and many searches can be run in parallel.
poker3d is a poker server and client. The client shows poker players in a 3D scene, animated according to the state of the game. Up to ten players can play hands of Texas Hold'em, Stud 7, Omaha, or Omaha8. Single and multi-table sit-and-go tournaments are automatically spawned. The client may play up to 4 games simultaneously. An accelerated 3D card is recommended to run the client.
poker-eval is a C library to evaluate poker hands. The result of the evaluation for a given hand is a number. The general idea is that if the evalution of your hand is lower than the evaluation of the hand of your opponent, you lose. Many poker variants are supported (Draw, Holdem, Omaha, etc.) and more can be added. It is designed for speed so that it can be used within poker simulation software using either exhaustive exploration or Monte Carlo.
poker-network includes a poker server, a client library, an abstract user interface library, and a client based on it. The server deals the cards and checks the user actions using a poker game engine (poker-engine). It listens on a TCP/IP port and understands its own specific protocol. The persistent information is stored in a MySQL database. The client library implements the poker-network protocol for the client. The abstract user interface library provides a framework based on the client library and suited to implement a user friendly client.
jpoker is a client for playing online poker which runs in a Web browser. It displays the list of poker tables, and when the user choses one, it is displayed in the browser. The user can join the game and play hands. It supports multi table tournaments. The poker server to which jpoker connects must implement a protocol compatible with http://pokersource.info/poker-network/.
Card Stories provides a server for a networked guessing game using picture cards. One player (the "author") starts the game by choosing a card, picking a word or a sentence to describe it, and sending out invitations to others to participate. Each of these players receives seven cards and has to pick one that best matches the author's description. Once enough players have chosen a card, the author displays all chosen cards and the players try to figure out which one is the author's. If at least one but not all of them guesses correctly, the author wins, along with the players who guessed correctly. Otherwise, the guessers all win.
phpclasses.org is a total pain
I don't even want to know why phpclasses.org requires 2,000 clicks before reaching the .php file and why it requires registration and login. Maybe the person who did the web site has emotional problems and want every visitor to notice what she/he did. I'm sure I would not remember phpclasses.org if it was not for the irritation it generates.
