shmux is a program for executing the same command on many hosts in parallel. For each target, a child process is spawned by shmux, and a shell on the target obtained one of the supported methods: rsh, ssh, or sh. The output produced by the children is received by shmux and either output in turn to the user in an easy to read format, or written to files for later processing, making it well suited for use in scripts.
drraw is a simple Web-based presentation front-end for RRDtool that allows you to interactively build graphs of your own design. A graph definition can be turned into a template which may be applied to many Round Robin Database files. Unlike most other RRDtool front-ends, drraw does not take care of collecting data and updating Round Robin database files. Instead, it specializes in providing an easy means of displaying collected data, making it a great complement to other RRDtool front- ends.
djib is a streaming server for media (MP3, Ogg Vorbis, video, etc.) files, with a Web frontend allowing the user to browse the collection of available files over the Web. Links to the actual media files allow an HTTP-aware media player (such as Windows Media Player, XMMS, WinAmp, FreeAmp, etc.) to play the files.

The short answer to this is that while similar, encap and swpkg are also quite different, to a point that makes compatibility difficult to achieve (if at all possible) and somewhat pointless.
I knew of encap when i started writing swpkg (and it is mentioned in the "Related Work" page). It did not stop me because i also knew then that i would never be satisfied with it.
