DBAHelper is a collection of scripts to ease the daily maintenance work of Oracle database administrators. Examples are moving objects between tablespaces, analyzing schemata, and rebuilding invalid indices. Also included is a little framework to simplify the use of RMAN (this framework depends on the use of Oracle 10g with the Recovery Area enabled and properly sized, so all backups go there).
HistView takes an ASCII changelog as input and outputs a formatted HTML page, optionally containing links to download releases. With the included Download Class, you can create download statistics (if you have a MySQL database), and even exclude unwanted bots and crawlers from these statistics or completely prevent them from downloading your files.
HyperSQL is like the doxygen program with Javadoc added, but for SQL. It hypermaps SQL views, packages, procedures, and functions to HTML source code listings, and it shows all the code locations where these are used. You can use JavaDoc-style comments for documentation and even embed UnitTests with them.
ImdbPHP provides an API to the movie information stored at the IMDb.COM and MoviePilot sites. As this and the name suggests, it is primarily targeted at PHP programmers who want to extend their programs or their site with this movie information. The classes must be used in accordance with IMDb's/MoviePilot's copyright and conditions of use.
OraRep is a PL/SQL snippet (embedded in a shell script) which creates a well-formatted HTML report on a given database instance, providing you with an overview on your instance(s), some hints for performance tuning, and more. It has been tested with Oracle 8.1.7, 9.0.1, and 9.2. The script easily fits into a cron task to be run on a regular basis. Sample output (HTML) is included. OSPRep does the same job for Oracle StatsPack Reports based on SnapShot Levels up to 7, and provides additional "plugins" for more detailed reporting on special issues. It also optionally creates a separate page with charts to visualize the results and more.
phpCDLabelPS creates labels for your CDs. It is currently only useful for data CDs (MP3 CDs included). After you provide some basic information, it reads the directory structure and creates a Postscript file out of it. The "look and feel" is controllable via a template and a frontend.
phpDiveLog displays the information of your Aqua DiveLog LogBook based on CSV files you generate with the Java Conduit shipped with Aqua DiveLog. These dynamic pages are nicely and lucidly formatted. phpDiveLog allows you to combine these data with additional information, such as pictures or other external data sources. You can create your own skins (template sets) to change the look and feel to match your Web site. PDF export allows you to maintain a printed logbook.
phpVideoPro is a program to manage your collection of DVDs, Video CDs, and video tapes. It stores all data in a database, and provides you with features for adding/changing entries, displaying lists, printing labels and lists, and more. An online help system is built-in to guide you when necessary, and an integrated user/session management protects your data against unauthorized access. Support for multiple languages is provided, and supported databases include MySQL and PostgreSQL; SQLite support is still experimental.
