mod_auth_nufw is a Single Sign On Apache module which performs secure user identification and authentication, based on the Nufw firewalling suite. Nufw marks all connections of a network with a unique UserID. This module takes advantage of that mark and uses it to transparently identify and authenticate users requiring access to an Apache server.
Nuface is a Web-based administration tool that generates Edenwall, NuFW, or simple Netfilter firewall rules. It features a high level abstraction on the security policy set by the administrator, and works internally on an XML data scheme. Its philosophy is to let you agglomerate subjects, resources, or protocols into meta-objects, and use those meta objects to generate ACLs, which are then interpreted as netfilter rules by Nupyf, the internal XML parser. This tool may easily be extended to support firewall implementations other than Netfilter.
pynetfilter_conntrack is a Python binding for libnetfilter_conntrack that allows you to manipulate Netfilter's stateful inspection objects. This makes it possible to easily close connections and obtain information about connections such as the number of packets and bytes. It could be used to create conntrack entries, replacing heavy kernel modules for complex protocols such as FTP and H323.
Spamstats is a Perl script that analyses spamassassin+mailer logs in order to extract useful informations about spam traffic. It displays scores, volumes, and spamassassin analysis times for spam/non-spam/both. It also extracts top spammed mailboxes. Its time options let it be used in conjunction with SNMP to generate near realtime graphs. Currently supported mailers are Postfix, Exim, and Sendmail.
squid-nufw-helper is an external ACL helper for Squid that provides Single Sign On capabilities. It uses the NuFW firewall suite and supports the NuFW users SQL logging scheme. The module allows for strict SSO identification and authentication of users on any Squid proxy, including transparent proxies.
