bigtinker is overloaded with applets for rwdtinker, the core application for a Ruby application framework using the RubyWebDialogs GUI. Rwdtinker provides a system for developing programs, and uses a Web-based interface. It allows a developer to combine and create applets to implement an application. It features built-in bug report submission, a test framework, and context-sensitive help. Bigtinker can run shell commands under Linux, use a calculator, build scripts of math commands, run Ruby commands in a browser, show a calendar, use an address book, look up word definitions, run a Unix fortune program, and read Gutenberg books.
