Krename is a very powerful batch file renamer for KDE which can rename a list of files based on a set of expressions. It can copy/move the files to another directory or simply rename the input files. Krename supports many conversion operations, including conversion of a filename to lowercase or to uppercase, conversion of the first letter of every word to uppercase, adding numbers to filenames, finding and replacing parts of the filename, and many more. It can also change access and modification dates, permissions, and file ownership.
DragStacK is a kicker applet, a stack of files. It was inspired by the drop stack of the PathFinder file manager for OS X. Users can drop as many files on it as they want. To get the files out of the stack they just need to be dragged out. The last file that was dropped on the stack is the first file that can be dragged out of it. It does not keep the files themselves in the stack, only their paths. It can also handle stacking URLs and directories.

Quality-Check provides a small Java library for basic runtime code quality checks. It provides similar features to org.springframework.util.Assert or com.google.common.base.Preconditions without the need to include big libraries or frameworks such as Spring or Guava. The package Quality-Check tries to replace these libraries and provide all the basic code quality checks. These basic code checks avoid technical errors using a fail-early approach, by checking each input parameter to a public method to be technically valid.
