Piddlepodder is a podcatching client. It imitates the simplicity of bashpodder with a few added features. It downloads podcasts from a list of XML feeds and puts them into a download directory by date. No effort is made to copy the resulting files to an iPod, nor will this application interface with a directory, since it's just a simple podcatcher.

PMCam is a program that allows you to set up a webcam on a remote site through FTP and perl. It uses qcam to grab the image, mogrify to do the conversion to JPEG, and Net::FTP in perl to FTP the files to the server. The program's RC file should be configurable, though to allow any camera or converison programs.
