The libcomprex library transparently handles automatic compression and decompression of files and archives located locally, online, or even in other compressed archives. The API is similar to C's built-in file access functions, which provides a smooth transition to libcomprex. libcomprex can also open uncompressed files, making it a good replacement for the native file access functions.
Gaim for Qtopia is an official port of the Gaim instant messenger. It is a multi-protocol instant messaging client for the Qtopia and OPIE embedded environments, compatible with the AIM (using the Oscar protocols), ICQ, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, Napster, and Trepia networks.
libview is VMware's Incredibly Exciting Widgets, a collection of GTK+ widgets used within VMware products. These widgets are the same ones used in VMware Workstation 5.0 and higher, and were considered useful enough to open source so that others could use them in their own projects. These widgets are actively developed and maintained.
I would also like to point out that we in the Gaim project just released our Win32 port of Gaim, which can be found on our SourceForge Project page (here (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=235&release_id=110787))
It's still very alpha, but works nicely. If you like Gaim, and use
Windows at times, you may want to look into this.
