People who want "Just click on it" probably should
go to Windows. Unix/Linux is so powerful because
so much more can be done by *not* clicking. I
mean, there's nothing wrong with X11/KDE or such
things, but I really wouldn't want to see my Linux
machine to be a "Just click" box!
In fact, this Microsoft-created phenomenon causes
mental trouble for ordinary people. I mean: "Click
open coke". "Drag coke to mouth and drop it there".
A Unix-user'd probably simply write "coke | mouth".
(no, I'm not insane!)
Probably interesting, but really needed?
Actually, the idea behind all that might be
interesting, but it somehow seems like an
experimental toy project to me. I cannot really see
why a design like the one described in this article is
really needed. It's probably a nice utopian vision,
but such visions do seldome come true, and even if
they do, then mostly in a modified form that often
differes very much from the original idea...
