No vacuum of ideas; we just need to get to work
Let's face it - computers suck.
They're useful, but very hard to use.
There's a lot of work to be done
in almost every facet of CS - operating systems, networking,
file systems, programming environments, etc.
That doesn't mean that there's no room for hot new ideas,
but right now implementing them requires putting up with
all the other problems.
