Asymptopia Crossword Builder (Math/Text) is an application that runs in any modern Web browser, but does not require an Internet connection (if it is installed locally). The application was designed to allow teachers to quickly produce well-designed, challenging activities. The application features a configuration panel where the user can either enter their own word-hint pairs, or generate math-crossword problems via a single button. The math functionality generates word:hint pairs like: "four:7/x-3/8=11/8", where the hint corresponds to the problem, and the student would write the letters "four" in the corresponding boxes of the puzzle.
Asymptopia Flashcard System uses Motif and LaTeX to produce, manage, and use attractively formatted flashcards. You load some or all of your "collections" and set the timer for pop-up frequency. The GUI interface and "Collection Manager" make creating and modifying flashcards as simple as pushing a single button. A knowledge of LaTeX is only required when entering special symbols.

Midi Music Flash Cards is a music sight-reading trainer. It generates flashcards dynamically according to "modes" as specified through a handful of menus across the top. In auto-mode it continuously generates flashcards, with controllable time intervals between MIDI playback and a further time interval between displaying written feedback about the key and notes.
MIDI Sight Reader is an online music application (mupplet) inspired by its predecessor, the original MidiFlashCard system. The application scrolls both piano notes and guitar tablature. Notes are played for audio confirmation as they pass under the centerline on the window. The scrolling staffs drive a keyboard model and a guitar neck model. The guitar and keyboard can drive each other as well, for interactive exploration of the correspondence between the two instruments. The 3 components, staff, keyboard and guitar, can be independently added and removed from the top down, so many combinations of layout can be achieved.
