cstring is a small and simple platform-independent C library for the definition and manipulation of expandable C-style strings. Strings are represented as instances of the cstring_t structure, and manipulated by the library's functions. Its features include selection of different allocator pools, mapping cstring_t instances as views onto existing memory areas, efficient work-ahead memory optimization, and minimal link requirements.
FastFormat is a C/C++ output and formatting library whose design parameters are complete type-safety, efficiency, genericity, and extensibility. It is simple to use and extend, highly portable (to any platform or compiler), and it upholds the C tradition of you only pay for what you use. FastFormat supports output and formatting of statements of arbitrary complexity, consisting of heterogeneous types. FastFormat writes to output "sinks", which can be of arbitrary type.
Open-RJ is an library that implements readers for the Record-Jar structured text file format. Mappings are provided to several languages and technologies, including C++, COM, D, Java, .NET, Python, Ruby, and STL. In addition to platform-independence, the library focuses on small runtime costs - memory and speed - and the classic UNIX attributes of discoverability and visibility.
Pantheios is a C/C++ logging API library. It offers an optimal combination of complete type-safety, very high efficiency, genericity, and extensibility. It is simple to use and extend, highly portable (platform and compiler independent), and it upholds the C tradition of only paying for what you use. Pantheios supports logging of message statements of arbitrary complexity, consisting of heterogenous types. Pantheios supports filtering of log messages based on severity level.
shwild.fnmatch is a small, simple library that provides a platform-independent implementation of the UNIX shell function fnmatch(). It is implemented with three other open-source libraries: shwild (http://shwild.org/), cstring (http://synesis.com.au/software/cstring) and STLSoft (http://stlsoft.org/).
UNIXem is a small and simple library that provides emulation of several popular Unix API functions on the Win32 platform. Its primary purpose is to assist Win32 programmers who are porting to Unix or are writing multi-platform code. API functions include opendir/readdir/closedir, glob/globfree, readv/writev, pathconf/realpath, mmap/munmap/msync, dlopen/dlclose/dlsym/dlerror, gettimeofday, and getpagesize.
xCover is a code coverage library for C and C++. It uses non-standard features available with GCC 4.3+ and Visual C++ 7.0+. Users place line-marks in each branch of each function or method in a component's source file, and the library is able to produce, upon request, a report of which of these has not been executed. Reporting can be done on a per-file, per-alias, or per-file-group basis.
