This can be used to impress colleagues with your typing skills or just for sentimental reasons. It supports various sound input methods, as well as multiple output libraries like ALSA or AO. Most importantly, it is also possible to add more sound themes. Currently, only input for XEvIE (on an X Server) is supported.
Soxer is a Web publishing tool intended for the lazy programmer and designer. It allows the creation and maintenance of document driven Web sites, such as corporate sites, blogs, and project sites, and is also extremely useful for creating mockups for database driven applications. It forms a very thin layer above Sinatra to deliver data from a set of YAML files rather than a database.
itch41 parses a file of level 3 NASDAQ stock exchange data, such as ftp://emi.nasdaq.com/ITCH/S030711-v41.txt.gz. This is mainly for demonstration purposes, lacking column domains, column constraints, data validation, timestamp calculations, stock symbol lookup for execution/cancel/delete messages, derived columns (e.g. for partitioning), and the general kinds of pre-processing one would expect from a production tick data loader.
