xsddoc is a documentation tool for W3C XML schemas based on XSLT. This multiple schema documentation generator creates JavaDoc like documentation of your W3C XML schema. It is platform independent and usable from the command line, as an Apache Ant task, or as an Apache Maven plugin.
Rx4RDF is a set of technologies designed to make W3C's RDF less complex and easier to use. It includes RxPath, which enables one to use familar XML technologies like XPath, XSLT, and XUpdate to query, transform and update an RDF model, Raccoon, an application server that uses an RDF model for its data store and RxPath to translate arbitrary requests to RDF resources, and ZML and RxML, alternative text formats for XML and RDF that were designed to allow novices to write XML and RDF with (nearly) the same ease as a Wiki entry.
Rhizome is a Wiki-like content management and delivery system that exposes the entire site including content, structure, and metadata as editable RDF. This means that instead of creating a site with URLs that correspond to a page of HTML, you can create URLs that represent just about anything. It was designed to enable non-technical users to create these representations in an easy, ad-hoc manner. For developers, this allows both content and structure to be easily repurposed and complex Web applications to be rapidly developed.
XMLDiff aims at providing efficient diffs on XML files. Features include detection of modified items, added items, and removed items. It is not sensitive to item position changes (based on an ID). It is designed to support large XML files (about 100 Mo). It has basic XML manipulation (XSLT, deletion, etc.), scripting capabilities, and simple command line usage.
ServingXML is a markup language for expressing XML pipelines and an extensible Java framework for defining the elements of the language. It defines a vocabulary for expressing flat-XML, XML-flat, flat-flat, and XML-XML transformations in pipelines. The accompanying console app supports reading content as XML files, flat files, SQL queries, or SAX events, and writing it as XML, HTML, PDF, or mail attachments. This software is especially suited for converting flat file or database records to XML, with its support for namespaces, variant record types, multi-valued fields, segments and repeating groups, hierarchical grouping of records, and row-by-row validation with XML Schema. There is also an API for embedding the software in a Java application.
DocBook XSL Configurator is an umbrella project currently consisting of three similar Java Swing applications used to create DocBook XSL customization layers, run external subprocesses that format DocBook XML, and view the results. Users click through tables, select parameters, edit those parameters, include the customization layer in a project, write out the customization layer as an XSL file, and apply the XSL to the project's XML using the project's specified XSLT processor. DocBook XSL Configurator then runs a project's FO processor, PDF/PostScript viewer, HTML viewer, or man page viewer as an external subprocess.
