adx is a minimalistic but massively Web-enabled address book that runs completely in your Web browser. It's OS-independent and supports comprehensive details for each contact entry, including user identifiers and profiles for Skype, Twitter, Flickr, Delicious, Facebook, LinkedIn, studiVZ, instant messengers, etc. It supports the hCard and XFN microformats.
EditiX is a cross-platform and multi-purpose XML editor and XSLT debugger (1.0 and 2.0), which helps Web authors and programmers use XML and XML-related technologies, such as XSLT, FO, and XSD schemas. It provides a lot of functionality within a refined IDE, which guides the user with intelligent entry helpers, and has real-time XPath location and syntax error detection. It allows the user to apply an XSLT or FO transformation, and shows the result in a separate view. It includes default templates for XML, DTD, XHTML, XSLT, XSD, XML RelaxNG, SVG, MathML, and XML FO. It can generate schema W3C, DTD or RelaxNG from a document instance.
ServingXML is a markup language for expressing XML pipelines and an extensible Java framework for defining the elements of the language. It defines a vocabulary for expressing flat-XML, XML-flat, flat-flat, and XML-XML transformations in pipelines. The accompanying console app supports reading content as XML files, flat files, SQL queries, or SAX events, and writing it as XML, HTML, PDF, or mail attachments. This software is especially suited for converting flat file or database records to XML, with its support for namespaces, variant record types, multi-valued fields, segments and repeating groups, hierarchical grouping of records, and row-by-row validation with XML Schema. There is also an API for embedding the software in a Java application.
The GCC XML Tree Node Introspector project consists of a patch to the gcc compiler to output the internal compiler tree nodes in RDF/XML and programs to process that RDF/XML. The tree nodes are complex data structures which represent the source code inside the compiler. Through these tree nodes, users are able to extract information from their programs that would be otherwise very difficult to obtain. Modules exist to store these nodes in Redland RDF using a Berkley database. The long-term goal of the project is create a high-level API that will make the programmatic manipulation of programs easier than it is now.
XOM is an XML object model. It is a tree-based API for processing XML with Java that simultaneously supports streaming. In many use-cases, it can process arbitrarily large documents with effectively constant memory sizes. It strives for correctness, simplicity, and performance, in that order. XOM supports XSLT, Canonical XML, and XInclude.
xslui is an XSLT applet to display Web pages with a modularized XML file in Web browsers. This applet can design page layout by arranging square blocks called "areas". Thus it is very easy to display layouts like horizontal columns. This layout feature can also separate descriptions of an area's arrangement and contents, even in different files. This feature provides Web pages with modularization and sharing of their parts. In addition, xslui has data operating elements with the xsldo library, which can operate on XML data in the same or other XML files as the display data. This feature provides separation of views and data.
RefleX is a Java tool that allows people that have no particular knowledge of Java to write smart programs entirely in XML. The concepts of native XML programming used in RefleX have been designed separately, so that other implementations on other platforms/languages can be considered. As the tags used are considered "active", the underlying concepts have been named "Active Tags". Programming in XML allows developers to efficiently produce batch scripts as well as Web applications. With Active Tags, you can dramatically decrease the number of lines you have to code.
Album Shaper is a graphical application used to create, maintain, and share photo albums using open formats like HTML and JPG. Two-layer albums can be created in a drag-n-drop interface which allows quick and easy arrangement and categorization of photos. A few simple image manipulations such as rotation and flipping are provided to help get photos presentable as quickly as possible. Photos, subalbums, and albums themselves can be labeled as needed and modified at a later time by saving and loading from a simple XML format.
