The xsd2db package is used for converting XML Schema Definition files into DocBook XML code. The transformer can also be used to generate DocBook XML from plain XML files. It marks up tag names, attribute names, attribute values, and annotation, if parsing XSD code. The resulting DocBook XML code may be styled so that you have syntax highlighted XML code.

xsltester is an applet for testing XSL files. It can execute and judge test routines written in XSL templates without another applied XML file. Therefore developers have to create only one testing XSL file for a test. It contains another applet, xslviewer, which can displays an API document for an XSL file. xslui is an XSLT applet to display Web pages with a modularized XML file in Web browsers. This applet can design page layout by arranging square blocks called "areas". Thus it is very easy to display layouts like horizontal columns. This layout feature can also separate descriptions of an area's arrangement and contents, even in different files. This feature provides Web pages with modularization and sharing of their parts.
