oXygen is an XML editor that supports any XML document, and works with XML Schemas, DTDs, Relax NG schemas, and NRL Schemas. It has powerful transformation support that allows you to edit XSLT and XSL-FO documents and to obtain documents in the desired output format (such as HTML, PS, or PDF) with just one click. It also includes a complete Subversion client, support for flattening XML Schemata, an XML Schema instance generator, integration with the X-Hive/DB, MarkLogic and TigerLogic XML databases, editing actions on the diagram, and a rename refactoring action.
Lantern is a tool that lets users load XML documents and test XPath expressions. It produces an immediate graphical result where selected and context nodes are highlighted, and displays the XML document in the same format as it is stored in the file (rather than as an ugly tree widget). It is aware of name spaces and allows the user to set a context node to test expressions related to it.
myXML is a PHP implementation of the W3C's DOM, XPath, and XSLT recommendations that does not require additional libraries. It allows you to take advantage of XML/XSLT technologies even if your provider does not support it. The DOM API features standard names for methods and properties and should be compatible with future releases of PHP. The library allows the execution of PHP code on the fly, and inserts result into a DOM tree or attribute value.
AntFlow builds upon Apache Ant to provide a new approach to simplifying system automation that uses pipelines of hot folders chained together to perform a given task. Using XML, it associates an automated task such as data transfer, encryption, or XML processing with a directory on the local system. Whenever a file is copied or written into the hot folder, the associated task is executed and the file is moved to the next hot folder in the pipeline for further processing.
