Amun is a content management framework based on the PSX framework. The goal is to build a more federated and programmable Web. The templates contains very simple mark up. By removing logic, templates are directly accessible, fully parametrized, and free of context, and can easily be reused. The 'expp' tool (the Epeios XML preprocessor) reads an XML file to transform it to another XML file. It simplifies the writing of XML files by allowing the handling of macros, the definition and testing of variables, the inclusion of files, and more. This is done by writing, directly in the source XML file, predefined tags owned by a given namespace, tags which are then recognized and handled by the 'expp' tool. The tool is also available as a Java native component.

XML-Grammar-Fiction is a Perl package that provides processors for lightweight markup languages and corresponding XML grammars for writing prose (e.g. stories, novels, and novellas) as well as screenplays. The XML grammars can in turn be translated to XHTML and DocBook/XML. XML-Grammar-Fiction currently offers only very basic functionality, but has good support for UTF-8 and allows one to write bidirectional texts conveniently. It is still under development and may exhibit some quirks.

tvpvrd is a PVR daemon for Linux that offers the ability to schedule and manage TV recordings using one or multiple installed analogue TV capture cards, e.g. Hauppauge. The daemon is interfaced either through its full command language via a provided command line shell or through a basic (built-in) Web interface provided by the built in micro Web server. The goal is to provide an advanced recording and transcoding (using ffmpeg) server without the need to configure databases or a complex GUI. The server is completely self-contained and uses an XML DB in plain text format to store future recordings.

DocBook Doclet creates DocBook XML and class diagrams from Javadoc comments, converts HTML to DocBook, and transfoms DocBook XML into various output formats. It consists of a complete DocBook distribution containing schemas and the DocBook XSL stylesheets. It also integrates Apache FOP as the XSL:FO processor. A Swing application is used to customize the doclet and most of the DocBook XSL parameters and to start the transformations.
