With MetaModel, you use a type-safe SQL-like API for querying any datastore. It is a data access framework providing a common interface for exploration and querying of different types of datastores. It isn't a data mapping framework. Instead, it emphasizes abstraction of metadata and the ability to add data sources at runtime, making MetaModel great for generic data processing applications, but less so for applications modeled around a particular domain.
EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.
SHORE (Semantic Hypertext Object Repository) is a hypertext repository that stores data about documents and data described by documents. Access to this information is provided as hypertext. The repository stores objects that appear in documents, together with their relations in a semantic net. Hypertext navigation follows these relations in the semantic net. The SHORE server works as an HTTP server, and the client is a standard Web browser. The repository uses PROLOG as its query language and the XSB system as its query engine.
Project35 is an application suite that allows users to generate data entry forms from XML schema. Application designers use a Configuration Tool to associate records and record fields defined in the schema with application properties that include features such as: validation services, controlled vocabulary services, general plugins, and various aspects of look-and-feel.
Generating new objects for the Query Object Framework is repetitive, tedious, and time consuming. Qof Generator automates this process in PHP to build a working test program linked against QOF. Objects are created from an HTML form using a temporary MySQL cache and exported with Makefile, ./autogen.sh, ChangeLog, README, C source code, and doxygen mark-up comments in a tarball built by the PHP code.
QML (Quantity Modeling Language) is a "thing"-based language for scientific and mathematical data modeling. Each "thing" is a quantity which may be associated with either a structure or physical phenomena. Quantities, in turn, may hold other Quantities or values (numbers or strings). Higher-level data models, which associate or define meanings to various quantities (such as velocity or position), can be built from QML quantities. The higher-level data model (XML) schema that inherits from QML may be understood, and its instance documents may be parsed into QML documents and objects by the QMLReader.
