Terminal is a modern terminal emulator for the Unix/Linux desktop, primarly for the Xfce desktop environment. It was developed because Xfce needed a lightweight and easy-to-use terminal emulator that didn't require the user to install the GNOME libraries, but still provided a worthy alternative to the GNOME terminal emulator, with all the bells and whistles.
xfburn is easy to use burning software for the Xfce desktop environment (but will work with others). It uses libburn and libisofs as a backend. ISO files can be burned, data composition created, discs blanked, and DVD-RW media formatted and deformatted. Common burning software features not yet implemented are audio CD creation and disc copying.
Xfld (Xfce live demo) is a liveCD that demonstrates the latest version of the Xfce desktop environment and provides a complete GNU/Linux operating system (based on Ubuntu), which can be run directly from the CD. In contrast to the Xubuntu install CDs, the Xfld CD contains all tools and applications necessary for both productive usage with the graphical interface and the command line interface. Furthermore, the main purpose of Xfld to demonstrate the latest Xfce.
