Babeldoc is a framework and set of applications to process documents for business-to-business and other Internet/integration applications. It is primarily intended for text documents, especially XML, but supports a wide range of operations and data types. It has a sophisticated journaling system that supports replaying and reprocessing. Babeldoc is pipeline based and supports numerous ways to combine the pipeline stages in a dynamically reconfigurable fashion. It has a GUI and a Web-based console for document processing and monitoring, and comes with tools for the tranformation of flatfile data to XML, archival, and cryptography. Additionally it is able to scan various data sources based on sophisticated constraints.
jBpm is a flexible, extensible WorkFlow Management System. Business processes must be expressed as process archives in a simple and powerful language. These are loaded in the jBpm runtime engine. Users or systems then perform single steps of the process. jBpm maintains the state, logs, and performs all automated actions. jBpm includes a Web-application and a scheduler. jBpm can be deployed both inside and outside of an EJB-container.

Antipodes.Cubes is a BPM system for visual modeling and automation of processes. Processes are designed visually as block diagrams in a graphical environment called WfArchitect. The logic and flow of the processes are reflected in the different containers (blocks or shapes) and the connections between them. It supports task, condition, user decision, code, timer, and scheduler containersm and allows for the inclusion of subprocesses in processes and also recursive use of subprocesses.
XFlow is a platform for building, executing, and managing workflows. It is a basis for building collaborative applications as well as integrating processes across an enterprise. It has a small footprint but is extremely powerful, and is designed to be easy to use from the development, deployment, and management standpoints. It runs within an EJB and servlet container and supports distributed and parallel processes within an organization's firewall as well as across organizational boundaries.
AePro is a compilation manager for programs written in progres4gl. It compares modification times and will only (re)compile the programs whose source code has changed. It is intended to be used in combination with Aegis, a transaction-based software configuration management system that provides a framework within which a team of developers may work on many changes to a program independently.
