SoC GDS is a platform for enabling hierarchical SoC integration and verification across traditional EDA frameworks based on Virtual Components per the VSIA guidelines. It is also a fast viewer and processor for native GDSII files. It encompasses a set of powerful functions allowing automatic cell renaming, grid verifications, GDS II files merging (AND), physical comparison (XOR), hierarchy modifications, and conversion to text format.
The Robot Auto Racing Simulator (RARS) consists of a simulation of the physics of cars racing on a track, a graphic display of the race, and a separate control program (robot "driver") for each car. The goal of the game is to implement such a control program in order to compete against other programmers. An official formula one season is held every year.
EAsea Specification of Evolutionary Algorithms (EASEA), is a high-level language dedicated to the specification of evolutionary algorithms. The language and compiler are quite mature. EASEA compiles .ez specification files into C++ or Java object files, using existing evolutionary libraries. Supported C++ libraries currently are GALib or EO.
aiSee reads a textual, easy-to-read, and easy-to-learn graph specification and automatically calculates a customizable graph layout. This layout is then displayed, and can be printed or interactively explored. aiSee features 15 basic graph layout algorithms (including force-directed layout), recursive subgraph nesting, fish-eye views, and an animation interface. It has been optimized to handle huge graphs automatically generated by applications (e.g. compilers).
MIDAS is a data acquisition system for small and medium size particle and nuclear experiments in physics running under Linux, Windows, and VxWorks. It contains all necessary software to gather data on front-end computers from VME, FASTBUS, and CAMAC, analyze data using PAW and ROOT, and store data on disks and tape. It contains a slow control system with history capabilities and a Web-based user frontend.
YAKS - Yet Another Khepera Simulator, is a Khepera simulator that uses prerecorded sensor values from a real robot in order to provide simulation speeds of 3600 times reality. It has support for the infrared sensors, light sensors, K213 vision turret, gripper arm, and more. The simulator comes with a GTK interface, a genetic algorithm (GA), and an artificial neural net (ANN).
The Mesh Viewer is an easy-to-use, lightweight application for displaying three dimensional models (triangular meshes) from a variety of file formats. It uses OpenGL to render the models. Triangular meshes can be displayed texture mapped (with optional bilinear filtering), solid, or as a wire frame (all lines or just the front lines). Loaded models can be rotated, translated, and scaled (all done with the mouse). The model is lighted by multiple light sources. Viewpoints can be saved.
