esniff (formerly dbsniff) is a very basic set of tools useful for network traffic analysis and scripting across machines. It consists of three tools: esniff, nwait/npush, and loss_chk/loss_srv. esniff is a packet sniffer based on pcap that does certain things like traffic summaries (not better but hopefully easier than tcpdump). nwait and npush implement the DOS "pause" command working over the network. loss_chk and loss_srv are for checking the loss rate of a line.
Weplab is a tool to review the security of WEP encryption in wireless networks from an educational point of view. Several attacks are available, so it can measure the effectiveness and minimum requirements of each one. Currently, weplab supports several methods, and it is able to crack the WEP key from 600,000 encrypted packets.

BixData is a cluster management tool that includes monitoring and system administration features. It monitors services (HTTP, ping, POP3, SMTP), performance, and processes. It has a management console for VMWare and Xen that supports multiple virtual machine hosts and guests. It can create critical notifications and send email alerts for any system event (HTTP, ping, CPU, memory, SMART diagnostics, VM stats). A graphical desktop supports real-time dynamic graphs. The runtime agents and server components are lightweight and easy to set up and run.
gkleds is a GKrellM plugin which monitors the CapsLock, NumLock, and ScrollLock keys and reports their current status via on screen LEDs. This is useful for people who have keyboards without LEDs, typically cordless keyboards. It also lets you toggle the indicator state via mouse clicks.
Spike Asset Manager (SAM) is a cross-platform framework for probing a system for components and reporting them. It includes a driver file that probes for components commonly found in a LAMPJ stack (Apache, MySQL, PHP, Tomcat, etc). It can find multiple versions that are installed, query the RPM database, and indicate whether components are running.
Accountability Pal monitors your network and keeps track of who is using the Internet and what they are viewing, downloading, uploading, etc. It emails a report of each user's activity to the person/people you specify. It will monitor HTTP traffic, Peer-to-Peer, FTP, and more. It uses a plugin interface to allow others to easily add new protocols to its monitoring abilities.
Helpcore is an enterprise grade help and servicedesk application. It acts as a central information hub for everybody that is involved in the help and service desk process.
