TPT is a template scripting language implemented in C++. The LibTPT parser transforms TPT templates into text. The parser, which integrates with your C++ code through a simple class API, is small and fast, focusing on functionality instead of rich feature sets. Uses include on-the-fly HTML and source code generation.
Extended Tcl (TclX) is an extension to Tcl, the Tool Command Language invented by Dr. John Ousterhout. Tcl is a simple and powerful embeddable programming language. Extended Tcl is oriented toward system programming tasks and large application development. TclX provides additional interfaces to the operating system. It also adds many new programming constructs, text manipulation tools, and debugging tools.
MakeNG is a system of makefiles that, in conjuncture with a patch to GNU Make, provides a concise, extensible, logically organized and easily modified system of makefiles to build any source tree or combination of components you can envision. MakeNG sports a fully documented extensible API on top of the classic GNU Make syntax (which is great for backwards compatibility).
IRK is a Tcl IRC client library. IRK is intended for Tcl programmers that want to use the IRC protocol for communication. It can be used to ease the creation of IRC "bots", to serve as the basis for graphical chat clients, and to allow IRKs to find each other without centralized coordination by meeting on a designated IRC server and channel. This last feature makes it ideal for negotiating the initial contact of P2P programs without requiring a central registry or server.
chntpw is a Linux utility to (re)set the password of any user that has a valid (local) account on your WinNT or Win2000 system, by modifying the crypted password in the registry's SAM file. You do not need to know the old password to set a new one. It works offline (i.e., you have to shutdown your computer and boot off a linux floppy disk). The bootdisk includes stuff to access NTFS partitions and scripts to glue the whole thing together. This utility works with SYSKEY and includes the option to turn it off. A bootdisk image is provided.
The Units Conversion Library provides a facility for converting from a variety of scientific and engineering shorthand notations into floating point numbers. This allows application developers to easily convert value strings like "9.2 meters/second" and "20 miles/hour" into uniformly scaled floating point numbers. The library is implemented in both Tcl and C, and supporting other scripting languages should be straightforward.
Software to manipulate, monitor, and manage messages in a queue of a WebSphere MQ (formally MQSeries) queue manager from a command-line or shell scripting environment.
