omnisode.rb, preodein.rb, and preindent.rb are a set of Ruby programs to generate a program to use long Taylor series to solve systems of ordinary differential equations. It generates code to solve the equations in either C, C++, Ruby, Maple, or Maxima. Using the Taylor series, estimates are made of the location of poles.
The OATH Toolkit makes it easy to build one-time password authentication systems. It contains shared libraries, commandline tools, and a PAM module. Supported technologies include the event-based HOTP algorithm (RFC4226) and the time-based TOTP algorithm (RFC6238). OATH stands for Open AuTHentication, which is the organization which specifies the algorithms. For managing secret key files, the Portable Symmetric Key Container (PSKC) format described in RFC6030 is supported.
PEDSIM is a microscopic pedestrian crowd simulation system. The PEDSIM library allows you to use pedestrian dynamics in your own software. Based on pure C++/STL without additional packages, it runs on virtually every operating system. The PEDSIM Demo Application (Qt) gives you a quick overview of the capabilities, and is a starting point for your own experiments. PEDSIM is suitable for use in crowd simulations (e.g. indoor evacuation simulation, large scale outdoor simulations), where one is interested in output like pedestrian density or evacuation time. The quality of the individual agent's trajectory is high, PEDSIM can be used for creating massive pedestrian crowds in movies. Since libpedsim is easy to use and extend, it is a good starting point for science projects.
Fimex is a the File Interpolation, Manipulation, and EXtraction library for gridded geospatial data. It converts between different, extensible data formats (currently netcdf, NcML, grib1/2, metgm, wdb, and felt). It enables you to change the projection and interpolation of scalar and vector grids. It makes it possible to subset the gridded data and to extract only parts of the files. For simple usage, Fimex also comes with the command line program fimex.

Excelsior JET is a Java VM enhanced with an Ahead-Of-Time (AOT) compiler and deployment toolkit. It is certified Java Compatible on Windows and Linux on Intel x86 hardware. The 64-bit version is in the works. Excelsior JET Optimizer transforms your classes and JARs into high-performance binary executables. Excelsior JET Runtime includes a licensed Sun implementation of the Java API and Excelsior's proprietary JVM, which is responsible for Java memory management, threading, synchronization, security, and JIT compilation of classes that could not be precompiled.
