Osgish is a command line shell for OSGi. It is based on the Readline Library, Jmx4Perl, as the OSGi backend, and Aries JMX as the OSGi Management layer. It is different than other OSGi shells, as it is implemented in pure Perl and provides unique features like wildcard support, context-sensitive command line completion, syntax highlighting, bulk lifecycle operations, advanced query facilities, and remoting via HTTP. It uses jmx4perl and Aries JMX OSGi bundles for accessing the OSGi container remotely.
Pavuk is a Web grabber with an optional GTK GUI, and optional support for downloading with multiple threads. It supports the HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTP via SSL, and Gopher protocols, as well as HTTP GET, and POST requests. It is capable of filling HTML forms while downloading HTML trees, and lets you mirror Web documents for local browsing. You can even synchronize changes to these documents. Recent versions also support processing of Javascript patterns in HTML pages. Pavuk have JavaScript bindings that allow writing of own scripts to perform special tasks.
PECoMaTo stands for Picture-Embedded COntents MAnipulation TOol. It is basically designed to display any kind of information embedded in picture files, as well as checking, filtering, extracting, removing, adding, and fixing such information. In other words, it's a metadata processor. It supports the following file formats: JPEG/JFIF, Adobe PSD and FFO, and raw IPTC. It knows about the following metadata formats: JFIF, IPTC, Exif, Adobe, and Fotostation. More file and metadata formats might be supported later (TIFF, etc.).
pftp allows you to send and receive files and directories recursively, send and receive standard input and ouput, filter your connection, set the net buffer size, set the bandwidth, send UDP datagrams unicasted, broadcasted, and multicasted (which is meant for AUDIO and VIDEO streaming), send data to another user and manage that data, perform a network test based on either UDP or TCP, and use optimized buffers for your Gigabit Ethernet links. pftp can start from command line, as a daemon, or by inetd. All features are supported for IPv4 and IPv6.
