Algorithm Study provides tools and resources to augment the traditional study of algorithms. It includes implementations of common and less-common algorithms in a variety of languages and visualization tools to help in gaining a deeper understanding of the algorithms. The algorithm implementations are each accompanied by a discussion of the asymptotic ("big O") run time and memory limits of the algorithm. Some implementations include discussion of how the algorithm or data structure is commonly used and comparisons with similar algorithms or data structures. All implementations have test cases that exercise their functionality. The visualization tool, Algorithm Visualizer, displays what happens as various algorithms do their work.
swampex (or Swamp Explorer) is a cross-platform library designed to work with raster maps in Ozi Explorer format. Using this library, you'll be able to collect maps in the file system, get information about map calibration, find maps by latitude/longitude, render maps in SDL surfaces, and more.
Crossbones is used to generate 3D skeletons based on Total Station data, or similar digital data sets from optical surveys, created using the new X-Bones recording methodology. It is intended as a tool for for rapid surveying and visualization of dense skeletal assemblages, such as in mass graves or cemeteries.
HeeksCNC is a CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) add-on module for HeeksCAD. The user can add machining operations. These can then be output to NC code. The NC code is then shown as red and green lines on the screen. The NC code is generated using Python script, so it can be configured for different machines. HeeksCNC uses pycam for the "Zig Zag" operation, libarea for the "Pocket" operation, and libactp for the "Adaptive Roughing" operation.
Z88 is a fast, powerful, and compact finite elements analysis program. Z88 features 20 finite element types; it covers plane stress, plate bending, axial symmetric structures, and spacial structures up to 20-node Serendipity hexahedrons. It comes with a user-friendly interface (the Z88 Commander), and has a powerful mesh generator. It features a DXF coverter and two plot programs. The FEA solver is included, featuring an in-situ Cholesky solver along with the Jennings storage method. COSMOS and NASTRAN files from Pro/ENGINEER can be imported. Z88 is a project of the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
Spring Batch Advanced Launcher (SBAL) is a tool based on Spring Batch. It allows launching batches from the command line. A set of advanced functionality is provided to allow enterprise deployment as an alternative to the CommandLineJobRunner. it provides advanced features like displaying the batch version, running resource validations, and configuring logging. It also defines a standard directory structure for deployments.
lib4d_sql is a C library that provides the required functions (connect, prepare, execute, etc.) for writing an SQL client for 4D databases. It uses the public 4D SQL protocol, which is supported by 4D products since version 11. It is already used by the PDO_4D Open Source project, and it might be used to provide others drivers for JDBC, ADO, or ActiveRecord.
DJ Swing Suite provides some components and utilities that are often needed or greatly help the creation of rich Swing user interfaces. The components include, among other things, combo buttons, tri-state check boxes, links, extended label (selectable/multi-line) and text/number fields with support for validation, notification tips, formatters, and masks. The utilities bring features like auto-scroll with middle mouse click, automatic fitting of table columns, and conversion of wildcard expressions.
