The Python Multimodal Hub is an implementation of the Multimodal Middleware Protocol. It is used to interconnect components in a network and to route messages between them. One of the goals of the project is to fully implement the protocol and to enable user-configured profiles. New components can be easily developed in Python using the included library. It can also be used to link devices in a home network and to interact with mobile phones.
actiTIME is a Web-based time-tracking program with additional functionality for effective project management and accurate accounting. It allows you to enter time with comments, assign project teams, plan the time spent on each task, evaluate team performance, generate powerful reports, analyze project costs, bill customers, and more. actiTIME is free for small to mid-sized companies. It can be downloaded and installed on your own server or it can be hosted on a server provided by actiTIME's producers.
DCHK is a protocol to check the availability of Internet domain names. It is based on IRIS, the Internet Registry Information Service (see RFC 3981) and is defined in RFC 5144. It uses the lightweight UDP transfer protocol for the Internet registry information service, defined in RFC 4993. This software contains a client implementation of the IrisLWZ and DCHK protocols. It provides interfaces to the protocol in the form of a C/C++ library, a command line client, and a graphical user interface.
The GRIA Command Line Client interface has several advantages over the standard graphical interface. It provides the ability to automate various common actions through easy to write and use batch or shell scripts. Actions can be performed automatically without the need for interaction with the user, and chained together to form pipelines. In addition, the command line client uses less resources than the graphical interface.
Proxymini is a proxy server that fully supports HTTP, HTTP CONNECT (for HTTPS and so on), SOCKS4 (TCP and TCP bind), and SOCKS5 (TCP, TCP bind, and UDP). It's designed to be small, and for being used in trusted environments where there is no need for complex or advanced options. Double-click on it and it will work immediately. It supports some options like the binding of a specific interface for incoming or outgoing connections, a custom port to bind (the default is 8123), and stdout and file verbose logging.
Smitten differs from traditional media centres in three major ways. It contains no media playback at all, which makes it very small (and suitable for porting to embedded systems) and quick to initialize. It targets a TV display and interface, which means there's less information on any particular screen, and a much simpler control interface consisting of left, right, up, down, and select. No mouse is required. It is also highly skinnable, and cross-platform to most systems. Essentially, it provides an easy-to-use menu system that allows the user to navigate a hierarchy of files, and view them using an (external) tool.
