web server administration platform in java is a set of client and server side programs used to administer web servers, whose core is written in Java. It is based on servlets for server side, and on everything who can communicate with servlets (C, Delphi, Perl, Java, Python, etc.) for client side. It is aimed at providing a means to administer Web servers easily on all platforms.
web2ldap is a full-featured Web-based LDAPv3 client written in Python. It is designed to run either as with stand-alone built-in Web server or under the control of another Web server with FastCGI support (e.g. Apache with mod_fastcgi). It has support for various LDAPv3 bind methods and a powerful built-in schema browser. HTML templates are supported for displaying and editing entries, and LDIF templates can be used for quickly adding new entries. A built-in X.509 parser displays a detailed view of certificates and CRLs with active links.
Webfwlog is a Web-based firewall log reporting and analysis tool. It allows users to design reports to use on logged firewall data in whatever configuration they desire. Included are sample reports as a starting point. Reports can be sorted with a single click, or "drilled-down" all the way to the packet level, and saved for later use. Supported log formats are netfilter, ipfilter, ipfw, ipchains, and Windows XP. Netfilter support includes ulogd MySQL or PostgreSQL database logs using the iptables ULOG target.
WebWasher consists of the three modules that filter content, protect privacy, and control access. WebWasher's standard filters prevent unwanted data objects on Web pages from being loaded, prevent information on users from being forwarded to third parties without the users' knowledge, and allow the user a controlled access to the Internet (wanted information gets through; unwanted Web pages or data are blocked).
wfrog is a Web-based weather station software with nice charts and many ways to publish them on the Web. The architecture is meant to make it very easy to add support for other weather station models and to allow for rendering the weather data in several formats and media using an extensible renderer structure. The processing and memory footprint of wfrog is very low, making it suitable to run on low-power equipment like PC-engine Alix, Cisco NLSU2, or SheevaPlug. The currently supported weather stations are Ambient Weather WS1080, Davis VantagePro, VantagePro2, Elecsa AstroTouch 6975, Fine Offset Electronics H1080, WH1081, WH1090, WH1091, WH2080, WH2081, Freetec PX1117, LaCrosse 2300 series, Oregon Scientific WMR100N, MR200, WMRS200, WMR928X, PCE FWS20, Scientific Sales Pro, Touch Screen Weather Station, Topcom National Geographic 265NE, Watson W8681, and any station using the WESTEP protocol.
The wftk is a relatively complete initial implementation of a workflow engine. It is implemented as a library to allow workflow functionality to be embedded in arbitrary applications. Data and activities are represented internally as XML structures, and all interfaces to external systems are organized into adapters to allow fairly easy interaction with any pre-existing software environment. The wftk compiles in both Unix and Win32 environments. Example adaptors already implemented are ODBC and Oracle under Windows, and MySQL for both Unix and Windows. There is an SMTP adaptor for Win32 and Unix, used for outgoing notifications. Storage of data is in local file directories or in databases.
A powerful and pretty desktop environment for Linux and Unix-like systems.
