Redshiftgui changes the color temperature of your monitor to better match that of your surrounding. This means that it sets a cooler color temperature during the daytime (due to natural lighting) and sets a warmer temperature at night (due to indoor lighting). Similar to f.lux, this is a GUI port of the redshift project.
yumpkgs is a tool to help people download the right set of RPM packages needed to update another computer that can't download the packages itself, for whatever reason. After the packages have been downloaded, they can be transferred to the other computer by way of a flash drive or portable disc. yumpkgs produces a list (downloads.list) with a .bat script that can be run on Windows to do the downloading.
BitNami Spree Stack greatly simplifies the deployment of Spree and its required dependencies. It can be deployed using a native installer, as a virtual machine, in the cloud, or as a module over an already installed infrastructure stack. Spree is a very powerful and flexible e-commerce platform written for the Ruby on Rails framework.
Erlangux is a mini distribution system framework in Erlang. It is derived from DSL. It provides an older Linux 2.4.31 kernel, a user-friendly shell, and a good assortment of utilities. Test sets may be run sequentially, in threads, randomly, or with relative weighting.
Larceny is a simple and efficient implementation of the Scheme programming language. Created originally as a test vehicle for research on garbage collection and compiler optimizations, Larceny has grown into a major multi-platform system, and is one of the very few implementations that support all four de facto standards for Scheme: IEEE/ANSI, R5RS, ERR5RS, and the R6RS. Development of Larceny has been supported by NSF, Sun Microsystems, and Microsoft.
PyNetSim targets the generation of background traffic and anomaly generation for testing anomaly detection algorithms. It is written basically without simulation in terms of computer science, but it uses parts of simulation theory. Therefore, it is a generator of such traffic types. It deploys its full power when running on many virtual machines.
