MakeNG is a system of makefiles that, in conjuncture with a patch to GNU Make, provides a concise, extensible, logically organized and easily modified system of makefiles to build any source tree or combination of components you can envision. MakeNG sports a fully documented extensible API on top of the classic GNU Make syntax (which is great for backwards compatibility).
JTreeProfiler is a multithreaded Java Profiler with support for Linux, Solaris, and Win32. The result is displayed in a nice TreeMap viewer to locate your time-consuming functions. The results are stored in XML, so they can be formatted by any XML-Tool, like JavaTemplates. The complete methodtraces are recorded for further analysis.
Heroes is similar to the "Tron" and "Nibbles" games of yore, but includes many graphical improvements and new game features including 12 original soundtracks, 94 levels (in 10 different tilesets), and five gaming modes including Quest (the classical Nibbles), or Kill'em all (squish the lemmings).
mp3mover.pl is a Perl script which attempts to rename MP3 files so that they conform to a consistent user-defined naming scheme. It inspects every MP3 in a directory and attempts to work out which part of the MP3 is the artist's name, album name, etc. It then renames each MP3 to follow the user's naming scheme, optionally creating a directory structure and writing an id3v1 or id3v2 tag to the MP3 based on the information it obtains. It also has an optional GUI implemented using Perl/Tk. mp3mover.pl was designed to be very flexible and can be highly customized through the use of a large number of command line options and a per user configuration file.
arrayfrombuffer allows a programmer to use Numerical Python arrays whose contents are stored in buffer objects, including memory-mapped files. Loading an array from a file is easy, requiring only a module import and a single function call. Loading the array is quick because it doesn't require any copying from one part of memory to another. Arrays created with arrayfrombuffer are also highly memory-efficient, since only the array data that you are currently using gets loaded into memory. When an array is modified, only the modified parts get written back out to disk. These arrays can also be bigger than physical memory.
