pacparser is a library to parse proxy auto-config (PAC) files. Proxy auto-config files are a vastly used proxy configuration method these days. Web browsers can use a PAC file to determine which proxy server to use or whether to go direct for a given URL. The idea behind pacparser is to make it easy to add PAC file parsing capability to any program (C and Python are supported right now). It comes as a shared C library and a Python module that can be used to make any C or Python program PAC scripts intelligent. dmap2gcode is a depth map image cutting program. A depth map is a greyscale image in which the darkness or lightness of each pixel corresponds to the depth (or height) of the object at each point. dmap2gcode supports various cutter geometries (flat, ball nose, and v-bit), two types of cut entry (straight and arc), a full set of roughing options, and various other settings, all controlled through a graphical user interface. The g-code output from dmap2gcode is compatible with LinuxCNC and Mach3.
StepSim is a lightweight step-based simulation module written in Python. It can do simple real-time simulations of discrete systems. StepSim supports step-by-step simulation or can run until a break condition occurs. Simulations are made up of containers and converters. A container stores a discrete amount of units of a certain type. A converter draws units from one or more containers and delivers the result to another container. StepSim does not even attempt to do any parallel processing. It processes converters round-robin in a fixed order.
springclean is a command line tool for cleaning up log files. It can select files based on name (exact or regex), age, or a combination of both. You can preview changes, and confirm before running each action. For each action you can find how much disk space has been freed, compress, move to another directory or remove your files, and create an audit trail with syslog.
