Geolizer is a patch for Webalizer that uses the GeoIP library to generate faster and more reliable geographic statistics than the default DNS suffix method. It is recommended that DNS reversal be disabled on your HTTP server for improved performance and more accurate statistics. It also supports country flag pictures, can be compiled under MinGW/MSYS, and features a human-readable transfer size display.
The OpenDBX libraries provide a unified and consistent API for software developers to different database management systems. The C and C++ libraries aim to implement access to the native database interfaces efficiently via a thin abstraction layer. They consist of a basic set of functions that are part of all vendor database libraries and can be extended by additional function blocks. Currently, Firebird/Interbase, MS SQL Server, MySQL, ODBC, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLite 2 and 3, and Sybase ASE are supported.
RapidMiner (formerly YALE) is a flexible Java environment for knowledge discovery in databases, machine learning, and data mining. Many nestable learning and preprocessing operators (including Weka) are provided. It features an XML-based graphical user interface, a plugin mechanism, and high-dimensional plotting, and provides an easy-to-use extension mechanism that makes it possible to integrate new operators and adapt the system to your personal requirements. A command line version is also included.
mysqlblasy is a Perl script for automating MySQL database backups. It uses "mysqldump" for dumping mysql databases to the files sytem. It was written with automated usage in mind. Babeldoc is a framework and set of applications to process documents for business-to-business and other Internet/integration applications. It is primarily intended for text documents, especially XML, but supports a wide range of operations and data types. It has a sophisticated journaling system that supports replaying and reprocessing. Babeldoc is pipeline based and supports numerous ways to combine the pipeline stages in a dynamically reconfigurable fashion. It has a GUI and a Web-based console for document processing and monitoring, and comes with tools for the tranformation of flatfile data to XML, archival, and cryptography. Additionally it is able to scan various data sources based on sophisticated constraints.
Berkeley DB XML is a native XML database engine for use within your product. Made available as a C++ library with language bindings for Java, Perl, Python, PHP, and Tcl, it integrates directly into your application (it is not a standalone database server). It provides XQuery access into a database of document containers. XML documents are stored and indexed in their native format using Berkeley DB as the transactional database engine.
nexB OpenAssets is a tool for inventorying, managing, and monitoring applications, software, hardware, networks, and generally any IT asset. It is designed so that system administrators, IT, and finance can determine what they have, how it is configured, what it is used for, and how much it is being used, so that informed decisions can be made. It complements existing network management software, integrates with a growing number of protocols and tools, and features no-agent discovery and inventory, configuration management including dependencies and correlation, monitoring, and reporting. It makes extensive and innovative use of XML, Xpath, and Xquery.
