OpenVIP is a flexible video-processing tool for Unix and Windows. It consists of two parts: the OpenVIP core, which is written in C/C++, and a Python GUI editor based on the timeline concept. The library can be used by other multimedia applications and is easily extensible with custom plugins (I/O formats, filters, transitions or more general modules).
ZEngine is a cross-platform 2D API which uses a combination of OpenGL and SDL to provide speed and functionality as well as portability. The library can be used on any platform SDL supports, but for full functionality requires OpenGL and several SDL extension libraries. A class-based design allows the easy management of resources and makes learning the API easy, allowing more time to be spent on the development of the actual game than learning of various APIs. Current development platforms are Windows and Linux, but ZEngine is reported to work on similar operating systems (like OSX), and help is available for anyone porting to any platform.
The Maximum Entropy Toolkit provides a set of tools and library for constructing maximum entropy (maxent) models in either Python or C++. It features conditional maximum entropy models, L-BFGS and GIS parameter estimation, Gaussian Prior smoothing, a C++ API, a Python extension module, a command line utility, and good documentation.
TestNetwork is a commercial version of TestMaker that provides a distributed test environment for scalability and performance tests and service monitoring. TestNetwork runs TestMaker intelligent test agents on multiple machines to achieve virtual user levels not possible with TestMaker. It makes it easy to configure a rack of servers to create 10,000 to 100,000 virutal users. It also makes it easy to set up a group of servers distributed around your network to show how your Web-enabled application, including Web Service, is performing.
