Rsyncrypto allows you to encrypt a file or a directory structure such that they can later be synchronized to another machine using rsync. This means that local changes to the plain text file result in local changes to the cipher text file. rsyncrypto compresses the plain text file prior to encrypting it with gzip using the "rsyncable" patch, which is available from the rsync sources.
The rt-stepper project provides a USB CNC controller solution. Most CNC controllers are designed to be driven with a PC parallel port. The rt-stepper solution replaces the parallel port with USB. Users can convert their existing parallel port CNC controller into a USB CNC controller. Designers can integrate the hardware into there own CNC controller. The PC side software is based on the popular EMC2 software at www.linuxcnc.org. EMC2 provides 4-axis support, a complete gcode interpreter, a trajectory planner, a GUI front-end, backplotting, and more. The best part of the solution is since the rt-stepper hardware provides the real time step pulses, you can now run EMC2 on Linux, Mac OS, and Windows.
rtf2latex2e is an utility to convert RTF files from popular word processors to the LaTeX2e format for those who value quality typesetting. rtf2latex2e uses the RTF reader package by Paul DuBois to parse the RTF code and generates an appropriate LaTeX file. The main features of rtf2latex2e are: detects text style: bold, italic, color, big, small,... reads embedded figures: PICT, WMF, PNG, JPEG,... reads tables: simple to semi- complex equations: reads out Equation Editor equations (courtesy Steve Swanson, http://www.mackichan.com) symbols: converts most greek and math symbols reads footnotes (not in tables yet), and converts hypertext links using the hyperref package.
sVimPy is a very small Python virtual machine intended for use in microcontroller projects. At the moment, it supports about 3/4 of all opcodes used in python3k. Most data types are supported. The intended goal is to use this VM in environments like Atmel's ATmega chips (2-8kb RAM). The microcontroller bootloader is still missing (no arduinos left for experimentation). Classes are not supported. Features include: function calling, a stack based VM, garbage collection, very low memory usage, an interactive debugging console, dictionaries and tuples, iterations, VM single stepping (game loop usage is possible), C function calling, a small memory footprint, fast performance, the ability to be used as a library in other projects, a simple API + code, possible usage as a small deployment executable for Python projects.

The extensive user management enables administrators to assign various permissions to each user and to exchange data e.g. contacts, appointments, or tasks.
