cw is a non-intrusive real-time ANSI color wrapper for common Unix-based commands. It is designed to simulate the environment of the commands being executed, so that if a person types 'du', 'df', 'ping', etc. in their shell it will automatically color the output in real-time according to a definition file containing the color format desired. It has support for wildcard match coloring, tokenized coloring, headers/footers, case scenario coloring, command-line- dependent definition coloring, and includes over 50 pre- made definition files.
commonc++ is a C++ class library for developing cross-platform systems software for POSIX and Windows systems. It provides an intuitive, object-oriented abstraction and portability layer around common operating system facilities like threads, concurrency mechanisms, sockets, networking, shared memory and other IPC mechanisms, regular expressions, files, streams, logging, process execution, scheduling, and more. It also includes a collection of common abstractions like strings, buffers, and object pools.
compare is similar to cmp but faster and with better readable output. compare examines one file and standard in, or two files on a byte by byte basis, and prints the file position of the first difference it finds, first in decimal and then in hexadecimal, followed by the differing byte content in hexadecimal and a quoted character.
congruity is a GUI application for programming Logitech Harmony remote controls. Configuration setup is via the Logitech Web site, in the same fashion as Logitech's own Windows/Mac OS software. congruity will handle processing the files downloaded from the Web site, which perform "check connectivity", "configuration update", "firmware update", and soon "ir learning" operations. It uses libconcord for the underlying remote interaction, is written in Python/wxPython, and is portable to at least Linux and Windows.
cosign is a Web single sign on system that allows users to authenticate once per session and access any protected Web resources at the institution. If used, passwords are sent only to a single, central URL. Sessions have both idle and hard timeouts, and users can logout of all protected services by visiting a single URL. The use of public key cryptography ensures that a compromise of a protected Web server has no impact on the security of other participating servers.
The cprops (C prototyping tools) library provides a portable, thread-safe C API including linked list, binary heap, priority queue, hash table, hash list, trie, AVL, Red-Black, and splay tree implementations, a thread pool and thread management framework, a TCP and HTTP socket API, and a database abstraction layer with drivers for Postgres and MySQL. libcprops compiles and runs on Linux, BSD, Solaris, Mac OS X, and Win32.
