Botan is a crypto library written in C++. It provides a variety of cryptographic algorithms, including common ones such as AES, MD5, SHA, HMAC, RSA, Diffie-Hellman, DSA, and ECDSA, as well as many others that are more obscure or specialized. It also offers SSL/TLS (client and server), X.509v3 certificates and CRLs, and PKCS #10 certificate requests. A message processing system that uses a filter/pipeline metaphor allows for many common cryptographic tasks to be completed with just a few lines of code. Assembly and SIMD optimizations for common CPUs offers speedups for critical algorithms like AES and SHA-1.
SmallBASIC is a free interpreter for BASIC, a simple computer language, targeting simplicity, mathematics, and graphics. Also, it has a powerfull string library, supports external C modules (shared libs), uses dynamic arrays (by default) and has no data types. Versions exists for Linux (or other Unix), PalmOS, DOS, Win32, VTOS (Helio), and Franklins (eBookman). It uses a lot of drivers, including svgalib, ncurses, and framebuffer.
Crimson Fields is a tactical war game in the tradition of Battle Isle. Mission objectives range from defending strategically vital locations to simply destroying all enemy forces in the area. Tools are available to create custom maps and campaigns. The original Battle Isle maps can be played if the player has a copy of the game files.

It uses a client/server architecture to facilitate the dissemination of geospatial data products over any TCP/IP network, and a driver-oriented approach to facilitate access to several geospatial data products/formats.
The SOAP to CORBA bridge/translator is written entirely in C++ and shows that it is indeed possible to do a generic translation of SOAP requests to CORBA method invocations and vice versa. This is implemented by using the CORBA Interface repository to match the incoming SOAP request to the corresponding CORBA service, build the dynamic invocation of the CORBA service, and generate the SOAP response (or possibly SOAP fault in the case of a CORBA user exception, for instance).
Irma is a CGI program used to retrieve the information from an HTML form, send confirmation email, and keep track of the data posted. Irma can be used remotely, can automate mandating fields (required information), prompt for confirmation as an intermediate step, and send electronic mail to a list of receivers, including dynamically-generated names with posted data mapped in email contents, subject and other fields. It can provide the highest level of customization through an expressions machanism at all levels of content generation, and can keep track of posted data in a server-side file of any desired format. It has a central administration and full control over remote processing for no security compromise, can chain multiple forms and inherit variables and data from previous ones, and it allows customized levels of errors and messages.
Class::Date provides a date datatype for Perl. You can create new Class::Date objects with a constructor from different scalar formats, array refs, and hash refs, and then you can easily manipulate it by the builtin "+" and "-" operators (e.g., $date=date([2001,03,15])+'3Y 1s'). Relative date types also available.
