OOS is a C++ object-relational mapping (ORM) framework. It aims to encapsulate all of the database backend functionality and keep it away from the user. One don't have to deal with database backends or SQL statements, nor with mapping of data types or serialization of objects. It provides an STL-like API and one container for all persistent objects - the object store.
fkchk is a MySQL InnoDB/XtraDB foreign key checker and repairer. It is useful if you suspect that your database's foreign keys may be broken, or if you disable foreign key checks and now want to be sure that the data is consistent. It is also useful if you have suffered a performance hit and want to check the consistency of foreign keys to verify that they're not the reason. It can attempt to repair any issues it finds, but this option should not be used and is only implemented for testing purposes.
ProjectForge is a Web-based solution for project management including time sheet booking, Gantt charts, financial administration and controlling, issue management, and managing work-break-down structures. First-party and third-party plugins are supported. Ready-to-run packages of the ProjectForge server are available for Windows, Mac OS X, and all Java6-capable platforms (database and Web server are included). ProjectForge is also available as a web-archive file (war) for usage within your own Web server and for your own database installation.
Siren Renamer is a tool that renames, moves, and copies files using an expression. A lot of information associated with a file can be used, including name, extension, dates, and selection number. Other information is extracted from files according to their type: audio, video, image (standard and raw), EXIF, IPTC, Office document, PDF, ePub, HTML, and many others. Many different operations can be performed on character strings, complete directory trees can be processed, and images can be viewed. For example, to change a file name to uppercase with the mp3 extension, the expression can be '%ub.mp3'.
Salad (short for Letter Salad) is an efficient and flexible implementation of the well-known anomaly detection method Anagram by Wang et al. (RAID 2006). Salad is based on n-gram models, that is, data is represented as all of its substrings of length n. During training these n-grams are stored in a Bloom filter. This enables the detector to represent a large number of n-grams in little memory and still being able to efficiently access the data. Salad extends Anagram by allowing various n-gram types, a 2-class version of the detector for classification, and various model analysis modes.
