GoFigure2 is a cross-platform application for visualization, processing, and analysis of out-of-core multidimensional microscopy data (5D data sets). Users can visualize images, segment cells in 3d, track cells through time, and detect cell divisions to generate lineages. Results are stored in a MySQL database back-end. Once data has been processed, cell-based object features are quantified and can be used for sorting, color-coding, analysis, or exported to external tools. GoFigure2 was developed for biology research including studying the development of embryos (zebrafish and mouse), synthetic biology (signaling), and for drug screening.
Cell server is a project that allows tasks to be remotely queried through the SMS service of one's cell phone. These tasks are then followed out by the software on the user's computer. Cell Server is made to use with any mobile device. It requires the device to be able to send email. Cell Server also requires you to use the Authentication code as the subject, or it won't even read your commands. Commands are then placed in the body field. Cell Server currently only supports the use of one command per email message.
Data2l is a language neutral, platform neutral way for describing large sets of proprietary binary data. An example of this kind of data is car navigation data, which is about 1GB to 15GB in a typical embedded navigation. With Data2l you can easily describe almost any binary data format using primitive description blocks like basic type, array, structure, or alternative and using a functional dependency description language. Using such a description, one can generate source code optimized for certain tasks, like a lightweight data reading layer, fast querying code, or code suitable for data generation and transformation.
OpenAPC is an APC (Advanced Process Control) solution that is highly flexible and configurable and covers a wide range of automation, visualization, and process control tasks from home control up to industrial automation. Control applications created with the OpenAPC editor's visual interface can perform several tasks dependent on how the application is configured and used. The application is available for many different platforms, so OpenAPC projects can be switched over to a different platform easily.
smtp-cli is an SMTP command line client with support for advanced features such as STARTTLS, SMTP-AUTH, or IPv6. It also has scriptable message composition capabilities supporting anything from simple plain-text messages right up to building complex HTML emails with alternative plain-text part, attachments, and inline images. It's also a convenient tool for testing and debugging SMTP servers' setups. smtp-cli can be used to check a given server's capabilities, to test your server's setup, or to create and dispatch email messages. The command line interface is intuitive, and everything is scriptable and can run in a completely non-interactive mode from scripts or cron jobs. smtp-cli is ideal for shipping log files from remote machines, running periodic mail delivery test loops, etc.
