Soprano (formerly known as QRDF) is a library that provides a highly usable object-oriented C++/Qt4 framework for RDF data. It uses different RDF storage solutions as backends through a simple plugin system. Soprano is targetted at desktop applications that need a RDF data storage solution. It has been optimized for easy usage and simplicity.
PYBAG implements a portable bag and is intended for fast synchronization and backup. It lets you use a portable digital storage device to carry your electronic documents similar to the way you can use a bag to carry paper documents. You can synchronize the bag with your original files easily. If a synchronization conflict occurs, it will be reported. You can specify rules for automatic conflict resolution. With PYBAG, you can backup files and synchronize any changes made to the original files with the bag. The synchronization process will only copy changed files. The program is cross-platform and independent from the OS and filesystem. You may easily synchronize files between Windows and Linux, for example. Symbolic links are supported on all systems (if the OS or filesystem does not support symlinks, then they are emulated). This program has a GUI and a command line interface.
Budgest is a Web application designed to manage budgets, for small to wide structures. Based on a double tree-structure (entity/nature), it allows the creation of annual or rolling slices budgets. It can import accounting data and allows the creation of dynamic reports to follow real-time evolution between account data and budget. A transverse view allows grouping of entities with no hierarchical relations (for example marketing departments of international companies). It supports users, groups, data versioning, and CSV import and export.
libNUI is a hardware accelerated GUI framework that makes it possible to build rich multi-platform applications based on 3D rendered dynamic layouts. Interfaces are built as a composition of widgets and behaviors, and the framework handles positioning, resizing, anchoring, and texture stretching. Objects are connected with synchronous events and delegates for mono-threaded communication, or asynchronous notifications and message queues are used for multi-threaded applications. It also supports strings (including Unicode), paths, files, data streams, fonts, threads, critical sections, audio buffer rendering, and more.
Falcon is a simple, fast, and powerful programming language, easy to learn and to feel comfortable with. It is also a scripting engine, easily embeddable in any complex, multi-threaded and mission-critical application. Falcon provides its users with four integrated programming paradigms: procedural, object oriented, functional, and message oriented. And you don't have to master all of them; you just need to pick the paths that are ingredients you prefer, and let the code to follow your inspiration.
Vocabularium creates Spanish-English podcasts to help with vocabulary learning. A vocabulary topic and the subtopics which you want to include in the podcast can be selected. The program outputs a WAV file (or MP3 if Lame is installed) that reads a list of Spanish words and phrases with English translations based on that topic. Several vocabulary topics are built into the program. Under Windows, Vocabularium is designed to work with any SAPI 5 voice. Under Linux and Mac OS, it currently works with Cepstral voices, including the free demonstration versions.
