JExpress is a Java installer builder and auto-updater. You create your installer quickly with your choice of a simple wizard or a powerful advanced interface, both included. You can bundle the exact JVM you want with your installer. JSBSim is a multi-platform flight dynamics model. The FDM is essentially the physics/math model that defines the movement of an aircraft under the forces and moments applied to it using the various control mechanisms and from the forces of nature. JSBSim has no native graphics. It can be run by itself as a standalone program, taking input from a script file and various aircraft configuration files, or it can be run as an integrated part of a larger flight simulator implementation that includes a visual system. The most notable usage example is the FlightGear simulator. JSBSim models the aerodynamic forces and moments by the classic coefficient buildup method.
The LibXDiff library implements basic and yet complete functionalities to create file differences/patches to both binary and text files. It uses memory files as file abstraction to achieve both performance and portability. For binary files, it implements both (with some modification) the algorithm described in "File System Support for Delta Compression" by Joshua P. MacDonald and the algorithm described in "Fingerprinting By Random Polynomials" by Michael O. Rabin. For text files, it follows directives described in "An O(ND) Difference Algorithm and Its Variations" by Eugene W. Myers. Memory files used by the library are basically a collection of buffers that store the file content.
MAPDAV (More Accurate Password Dictionary Attack Vector) is designed to use what is known about users via the /etc/passwd file on Unix/Linux systems to generate a dynamic dictionary of more accurate guesses as to what their possible password may be. It does this by mangling the user's username and user information in various user-specified ways to look for bad password protection practices.
METAXPON ("Metachron" in Greek letters) is a small and fast audio DSP library for time-scale manipulation of 16-bit integer or 32-bit floating point stereo audio data streams. It employs a rigid phase-locked vocoder with dedicated transient detection and processing, and can work in real-time or non-real-time. Four editions are included - a portable edition and three x86 editions. The portable edition can be built with any ANSI C compiler and is OS- and architecture-independent. The three x86 editions are written in assembly using the FPU, 3DNow!, and SSE instruction sets, respectively, with automatic selection between them depending on the CPU capabilities. They can be compiled with MASM, JWASM, or NASM, producing libraries of object files in 8 formats.
MP-MICH is a Multi-platform uniform MPI implementation, based on MPICH and SCI-MPICH, resulting in a high performance, consistent MPI across both ethernet and SCI networks in a hybrid environment. There is a single, standardized source tree for all platforms. It is compliant with the MPI-1 standard.
