The NCBI C++ Toolkit provides portable libraries and applications for assisting genetic science. Booruatsukaigaumai is a one-key desk game using OpenGL 3D scene rendering. Your task is to guide a number of red balls through 6 different levels full of blocks, holes, and gates. You have to make the balls go through as many gates as possible, which earns you the score points. However, you only have one key to control the desk tilt, which makes balls roll to the right (when the key is pressed) or to the left (when the key is released). Any other movement of the balls is controlled only by gravity and interaction with blocks, holes, and other balls. Even if the principle seems to be very simple, the game can be quite challenging.
uvlan is a User-space Virtual Local Area Network. In other words, uvlan peers act as nodes on a network switch. Ethernet traffic is routed between peers intelligently. This allows for multiple networks to share resources and even IP address space. Some may call it a VPN (Virtual Private Network) application, but it's much more powerful: it is peer-to-peer, is much simpler, and operates at layer 2 (ethernet). VPNs generally operate at layer-3 (IP), and layer 2 applications like gaming can't be supported with layer 3 tunneling.
The HLA Standard Library was developed to support the High Level Assembler (HLA), but could be used with other assemblers or higher-level languages if the necessary headers were developed. It supports 32-bit versions of Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and FreeBSD, and is written entirely in HLA. While breeding plants, eating, and mating, your actions impact your neighbors, and the social balance sways between conflict and compromise. Cultivation features dynamic graphics that are procedurally-generated using genetic representations and cross-breeding. In other words, game objects are "grown" in real-time instead of being hand-painted or hard-coded. Each plant and gardener in the game is unique in terms of both its appearance and behavior.
