Remote Methode Call is a project to enable calls to methods in remote C++ classes. The transport is implemented as a library, and is free from dealing with the internal RMC stuff, so any C/C++ programmer is able to write a transport for his own purpose. RMC(2) currently has a sockets transport library as reference implementation. It is developed on Linux, and supports Linux on iX86 and PPC. RMC should also work on BeOS. Testers and developers are welcome to the project.
Wiseman is an implementation of the WS-Management specification for the Java SE platform. The project scope includes the WS-Management specification and its dependent specifications, which can be found at http://www.dmtf.org/standards/wbem/wsman/. The project requires Java SE 5+ or above, and is built on JAXB 2.0 and SAAJ 1.3 (part of the JAX-WS project). Ant scripts for standalone and Netbeans builds are supplied.
XMail Queue Manager gives you control over an XMail Server's multi-level nested mail queue. You can use it to track messages in their different states (sending, resending, and frozen). Statistics tell you about the number of spooled messages. You can sort entries by any column header field, and can start and stop the server directly. The cross platform remote control feature allows you to manage queues on remote servers without a GUI.
Galet is a peer-to-peer application which primarily aims to provide easy-to-setup, secure communication channels between the computers of people who know and trust each other. Its secondary goal is to create a public network based on these channels. No direct connections occur between two nodes that have not been explicitly accepted by the users of these nodes. This makes the network very difficult to censor, as an attacker's direct access to the network is limited.
StableNet Express can comprehensively monitor an entire network, including the system and application environments. It features an easy-to-follow graphical display which provides a live view of what is going on in a networked IT system. The automatic discovery functions allow the entire monitoring system to be up-and-running within only a few minutes. Nothing needs to be installed on the production systems. It can be extended by users with their own measurement and alarm modules by adding scripts into a specific folder.
